Some of our Sk8 M8s will go to extraordinary lengths to save a few pennies!
John (renowned for this) has decided he’s going to keep his skates forever and has come up with a novel way to keep the plastic together as the enevitable wear and tear kicks in!
A little wire stitching… a few staples… good as new!
And this is just the beginning of his home brew modifications. There’s a whole load of lighting rigs being developed… watch this space!

Sk8 n Chips Hastings Route - gets rained off again!

However with quite a few of us turning up, we decided to get to a chippy anyway and then walk around some of the entertainments that Hastings offers.
Eventually some of the braver souls opted for Crazy Golf in the Rain!
John eventually won, wth myself a credible second place (and the only hole in one!) Emma was the most entertaining - getting the most for her money (and the most strokes) Teresa kept score most of the evening and Sue almost fell in the water trap - quite a night! Hopefully we’ll get this one done in 2 weeks time or so.

Pam took her first class today and launched Sk8schools newest skate lesson and social event - Roller Buggy Babies!
If you’d like to join in the next trip, contact Pam. It’s scheduled for 10am Monday morning - August 10th!
Summer Kids Holiday Program and Events

Marie and Nancy ran fantastic skate lessons this weekend. Our famous Kids club being our main offering throughout the Summer Holiday Break as a fun activity for kids during the holiday time.
As Sk8school has full Skate Hire , CRB check and loads of experience, you can be sure of Saftey, Fun and Learning for your children.
We will also be running kids club on August 13th and 20th at the Sovereign Centre. Check out their full program here.
Roller Zorbing! Review

Well we promised to roll anywhere - and today we lived up to it with about 20 sk8 m8s turning up to try (or watch - for the faint hearted) Zorb balling. Courtesy of our old Sk8 M8 Lee - See Silver Zorbing here).
It really “ROUNDED” off the breakfast skate!
