Sk8 M8s Bexhill Skaters Treasure Hunt Review

Well - that went perfectly! Especial thanks to Leslie, John and Teresa for organising such a brilliant treasure hunt and the good weather!

Congratulations to all the teams taking part - especially of course this years winners - Harry, Jackson and Richard - AKA “6 Blades of Glory”. They went away with the trophy and get to defend their champion title in April/May 2009 when the next Treasure hunt runs!

Well done to Tom and Jess, who made a team of 4 with their dogs! (And they thought they we just going to skate along the seafront for a 20 minute walk and ended up doing a treasure hunt for a couple of hours!).

Still everyone enjoyed it and thats what counts!

Nancy and the lollipop rollers also did well - making serious competition for 2nd place, but pipping them by half a point - Lee and Louise of the “We love Tim’s Silver Helmet Crew” came in for a second place steal. Which of course made for some tension whilst the scores were totted up!

However the fastest team - with the most treasure accumulated and the most right answers and the first ones back…

The 6 Blades of Glory - take the Trophy and well deserved too!

Meanwhile everyone else settled for Lollipops!
